You have to put on your investigator hat when you start looking at herbal supplements.  They are not monitored by the FDA so anything goes and sometimes it really does.  That is why you don’t take an herbal supplement just because it says it is all natural.  That does not always equate to be a good thing.  Take CITREXA Body System for example.  CITREXA Body System apparently is sold mostly on television which should warn you to beware from the get go.  It claims is it an all natural formula with a powerful clinically proven appetite suppressant, burning fat and promoting powerful weight loss with no side effects.  CITREXA even claims it focuses on the whole health, not just weight loss promising to reduce joint and tissue inflammation, stop food cravings between meals, burn fat intake as energy and increase feelings of fullness.  They even state there is a controlled study that showed people averaged 20 pounds lost in 8 weeks.  A fat burner supplement can say anything it wants but does it really work?

CITREXA Body System Ingredients?

This is where it gets interesting.  They don’t really list any ingredients but say that the one ingredient in their formula controls the leptin hormone which is sometimes called the obesity hormone.  After long hours of research it was found that the one ingredient they are talking about is Acacia.  Why are they trying to hide what they put in their formula?  Very concerning!!

Acacai is an amphetamine that is commonly used to lift the mood and give a euphoric feeling.  No clinical studies show its effectiveness in weight loss.  This ingredient is never mentioned on their website and if it was so great why are they not promoting it as the best thing on the market for weight loss.  All they are doing is focusing on an obscure hormone that is still a mystery and no ingredients that are clinically proven to be effective in fat burners.

CITREXA Body System Conclusion

The more I studied the more I realized that this diet pill is not a good deal.  It hides what is in the formula but touts that it is clinically proven to help you lose weight and burn fat, reduce joint and tissue inflammation and increase feelings of fullness.  When you look further into the clinical studies they claim have been done you realize that it is not on the fat burner product itself but on leptin.  There is no mention of CITREXA in any study.  They may be on to something when it comes to the hormone leptin but that is as far as it goes.  They even don’t put the price of the product on their website unless you give them all your personal information first.  That is a huge red flag.  Even Amazon does not have it available for sale anymore.  Need I say anymore about this fat burner product?
